classic films like "singing in the rain." she was reportedly planning her daughter's funeral with her son when she fell ill and was taken to the hospital. todd said the stress led to her death and that reynolds' last words were that she wanted to be with her daughter, carrie. >> denny reynolds' son confirms she's passed away at the age of 84. reynolds' son todd saying she's with carrie now. fanned had gathered to mourn fisher's loss, when reynolds was rushed to the hospital. she had been at her son's home in beverly hills when someone called 911 around 1:00 p.m. reynolds' career spanned nearly seven decades. including some of the most iconic films of the 20th century. she was hollywood royalty.

announced with soft web more than three weeks ago. that as trump flanked by boxing promoter don king urged lawmakers to move past the reported russian interfering in the election race. when asked about sanctions against russia and vladimir putin over the alleged cybersecurity breaches, trump stressed the need to move forward. >> i think we ought too get on with our lines. i think computers have complicated our lives greatly. the whole age of computer has made it where nobody knows exactly what is going on. i'm not sure you have the security you need. >> we're also learning from senior u.s. officials that president obama is preparing to penalize russia for that alleged interference in the 2016 election. those actions against russia could begin as early as today. russia has repeatedly denied wrong doing. >> authorities are working to notify family members of the two soldiers killed in an apache

helicopter crash off the texas coast. they were weperforming a milita flight before wednesday's accident. the aircraft was flying unusually low and broke apart midair. it's too early for speculations, as an investigation is still under way. >> all we know is that, yes, our pilots are highly trained, highly qualified veterans flying the aircraft for many years. >> the soldiers' names have not been released. >> to south florida and an incredible story of survivor. three california teens on vacation with their families are counting their blessings today. they rented fishing boat capsized out in the atlantic on wednesday. they were able to climb on top of the hull of the 26-foot boat. they waved at passing boats but to no avail. however, one of the teens had a cell phone and called 911. >> 911, what's your emergency? >> we're in the middle of the

your timeline, and users can tilt or rotate their phones to see the full view. the 360 degree videos will be limited to select partners for now, but anyone can watch them. facebook announced a similar feature earlier this month. back to you. >> landon dowdy, thank you. well, firsts were flying at a south florida shopping mall. a shopper and a store manager punched it out, and our station in miami got that video. it is unclear what prompted wednesday's smackdown, but it ended up in blows. the shopper reportedly visiting from switzerland threw water in the face of a manager of this steve madden store. the manager responded with punches, striking the shopper twice before being pulled back inside the store and then this happened. >> you're acting crazy. i'm going to sue you. >> it appears the shopper was upset the store was closing. police are investigating. no arrests were made and no comments from reps for steve

self-driving tesla cruising down a netherlands highway when a safety alert is activated. and the model x engaged the brakes before the driver can react. the family of five inside the tesla avoiding the collision. >> the car reacted much faster than we would have. >> the driver says his video shows the car engaged in auto piled, stopping before he knew there was trouble. equipped with the latest radar technology, tesla's model x appeared to have braked though the car in front of it maintained its speed. >> it's one of the main reasons i will use auto pilot, because of the extra safety. >> tesla had come under fire when a driver using auto pilot was killed in a florida collision earlier this year, but this driver says his family is safe, thanks to his self-driving car braking away from trouble. miguel almaguer, nbc news.

been falsely accused of killing his sister. we get that story from gadi schwartz. >> reporter: it's a $750 million lawsuit stemming from this two-part cbs special that aired in september. a panel of investigators suggesting that burke ramsey, the brother of jonbenet ramsey, may have murdered her sister when he was 9 years old. he's suing cbs, claiming perm independent damage to his reputation, resulting from the defendant's false accusation that he killed his sister. in the show, investigators theorizing that burke may have killed jonbenet by hitting her possibly with a flashlight. cbs saying in september it stands by the broadcast and will do so in court. in october, burke also filed a $150 million lawsuit against a forensic pathologist for comments he has made about the case. he's been the subject of several high-profile programs. interviewed in september by dr. phil on his program, where burke was asked if he killed
